Consider visiting nearby cafes for breakfast as the hotel doesn't offer this service onsite, but excellent options abound.

Fine base for discovering Montevideo with excellent and super-friendly staff in a very tasteful manner which added to the whole experience of Montevideo. Excellent and good location, on the ' walking street '. Based near the pedestrian area of the old part of Montevideo, many excellent restaurants and Montevideo's Old City:)))

Excellent service was provided too. The room was both unique and clean with an extremely comfortable bed, modern bathroom plus balcony. Location: the hotel was short walk to the centre of the city and all bars...

Charming hotel in a central location with artistic decor.
The nearby street noise was quite bothersome, especially at night. The absence of an on-site breakfast option was disappointing, as I had to trek to find decent cafes every morning.

The complimentary local liquors were a good touch.
The level of electrosmog in the room was slightly on the high side, likely due to nearby electronic devices from other guests.

The ongoing street reformation caused a bit of noise, though it won't last long. Slightly elevated electrosmog levels in the room were noticeable, likely due to nearby electronic devices from other guests. It would be great to offer breakfast on-site, as nearby options, while good, require a bit of a trek.

Fauna Hotel has a fine ambiance, showcasing beautifully restored details from the 1920s. Jeronimo, the host, were really nice in offering recommendations for cafes and bars. The room was comfortable and had a unique charm, but the lack of natural light was noticeable. The minor noise from nearby street work was somewhat distracting, but it didn't overshadow the experience. I'd love to see breakfast options added on-site to enhance the stay, as nearby cafes, while excellent, required a bit of walking.
